Local Children Set to Watch Obama Speech

This afternoon at 1 p.m. President Obama will address the nation’s school children from the J.R. Masterman School on Spring Garden Street in Philadelphia, will local children see it?

Neshaminy School District which covers Lower Southampton plans to show the president’s speech to its students. A letter was sent home Monday to advise parents and let them choose to opt their children out of watching Mr. Obama’s remarks which last year told children, “set your own goals for your education”.

Officials at the Hatboro-Horsham School District told BuxMontNews that it plans to air the speech live for its students. A letter was sent home informing parents and much like Neshaminy School District let parents opt their children out of viewing the speech.

Calls were put out to the Cenntenial School District but have not been returned.
