A First time for Rangers, Old News for Yankees.

It will be a clash of the upstart run-happy Texas Rangers against the wily and experienced 2009 World Series champs New York Yankees tonight in Arlington, Texas.

C.J Wilson for the Rangers, and C.C Sabathia for the Bronx Bombers are the starting pitchers tonight for game one.

For both teams pitching depth is a concern after Cliff Lee and Sabathiatake the mound. The Yanks with Andy Pettitte, have the experience factor on their side with the winning est pitcher in postseason history

Texas a team that likes to run has five starters with 10 or more stolen bases during the regular season. Expect them to run, run and run some more on catcher Jorge Posada who is not known for his ability to throw out would be thief's.

The Yanks are a team, that bombs away. Five Players had 24 or more homers during the regular season.

Mark Teixeira's bat was looking real quick during the divisional sweep of Minnesota. His return to Texas as well as A-Rod's is one of the may side-stories to keep a watch on.

The Yanks have the edge bullpen wise, with the "Sandman" Mariano Riveria, but the Rangers Darren x2 (Oliver & O'day) combination has been lethal all year.

Texas has home field, but has yet to win a game at home this fall. The Yanks never appear to be bothered by details like that.

Both have been the best teams in the AL all year long, so in terms of baseball fans should be in for a treat.

I think speed. youth, and lack of fear wins out. Rangers shock Bronx Bombers in seven.
