Hatboro Man Killed After Motorcycle Crash in Western Pennsylvania

A 41-year-old man from Hatboro was killed near Pittsburgh Saturday afternoon following a horrific motorcycle crash.


Brian Christopher Helm was traveling on a stretch of highway, I-79 in Ohio Township, Allegheny County, when the motorcycle he was riding on veered into the median of the highway and he lost control.


The motorcycle Helm was driving overturned after he lost control and flung him 132 feet.


Investigators have no idea what caused Helm to lose control of the motorcycle.


The Associated Press filed a report saying that first responders pronounced Helm dead shortly after they had arrived. An autopsy was performed today by the Allegheny County Coroner’s Office.
